He soon assumed the prestigious role of Artist in residence on Swedish Radio P2, and performed with all the major orchestras and concert halls including the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. Acclaimed for his personal and emotive artistry, he is one of the country’s most requested soloists. In 2018 he performed Bach's legendary Goldberg Variations in a completely sold-out performance at Berwaldhallen in Stockholm. He became Artist in residence at Vara Concert Hall in 2019, a position he continues to hold.
In addition to his domestic success, he has showcased his talent on the stages of esteemed concert halls including the Concertgebouw, the Elbphilharmonie and Musikverein. He has also been awarded with first prize in the Vera Lothar-Shevchenko International Piano Competition.
Among Huang’s many musical collaborations, his work with Rising Stars clarinetist Magnus Holmander and fellow Soloist Prize laureate, cellist Amalie Stalheim, hold a special place. Through their frequent collaborations, they have repeatedly earned acclaim for their captivating performances.
Beyond his performing career, Huang has positioned himself as a unique and influential musician through his role as an entrepreneur. A dedicated ambassador for classical music, he founded the acclaimed music festival Gränslandet, together with conductor Christian Karlsen, and the immensely popular chamber music concert series Förstaparkett. These initiatives effectively engage younger audiences and have garnered significant public recognition.
